Fangirl Moment!

So if you haven't already heard (I don't know how you wouldn't, probably have to live under a rock or something) the new Harry Potter movie is coming out this weekend, Friday the 19th to be exact. It's the first part of the final book and I've been super excited for it to come out since like... like after I saw the one before it. Here's a trailer for the movie if you haven't seen one yet.

Anyways, about my title. Well I found out I'll be in the city for Friday and D and I managed to buy some tickets online for the show. I have no doubt this is going to be flippin awesome!!! I am so excited I can barely wait for Friday to get here already so we can go!

My all time favourite character from the books/movies is Ron Weasley. He's just so funny and awkward and... well to put it bluntly, he's hot. I plan on soaking up enough of his amazingness to last me until July when the second part will be coming out. Other characters worth mentioning: Dobby, Fred and George, Luna, Neville, Hagrid, Hedwig, Professor Mcgonagall, Tonks, and Remus. There are more, but I don't want to list them forever.

Only thing about this is I'll probably end up crying in the theatre again (yes again, Up and Dear John were really sad movies!) because I cried while reading the books, and I get really into movies emotionally. *note to self: bring tissues* Also it's probably gonna be super packed, it is after all the opening day and it's the weekend, so I'll definitely have to get to the auditorium like 30 minutes early, maybe more.

Hope everyone has good weekends!

Oops, hehehe....

Yeah, so I haven't been writing here.... mostly because I suck at sticking with the things that I'm doing. Sorry. I don't think that I really want to write about myself so much right now so I'm going to try something a little different.
Just this past weekend I ended up watching somewhere around 15 movies. They were mostly horrors and thrillers of varying quality. I'm going to review a couple of them and rate them out of 10, if I like doing this I might just make it a more regular thing.
First up we have Tormented (2009). Over all it was a fairly good movie, it had a plot I felt was fairly original, but also relatable. It takes place in a highschool with the classic "popular" kids and the more conservative goodie-two-shoes girl who gets mixed up with them and a ghost. The filming was fine, in some places the acting seemed fake and the ghost wasn't really to my liking, as the people could actually touch it. I won't say too much about it so as to not ruin the movie if you would like to see it. Also be warned there are a couple bloody scenes, but that's to be expected in a horror I suppose. Rating: 5/10
Next we'll look at Eden Lake (2008). I really enjoyed this movie is a sick sort of twisted way. The story revolves around a couple staying at Eden Lake getting tormented by a group (or should I say gang?) of kids. This movie really got my adrenaline pumping, it had a lot of suspense and a good amount of gore. I think the thing I liked the most about this was that it is completely possible to get in the same situation if you happened to cross the wrong group of people. The ending was really good, but a little bit expected, not that it took anything away from the movie as a whole. Rating: 7/10
Finally I'll review Drag me to Hell (2009). I couldn't resist talking about this one for the soul reason that it sucked so much. The storyline was at best: stupid, the acting seemed really fake and the movie wasn't scary at all. The only part I flinched at was when the main girl got thrown up on by an old lady and when the main girl killed her cat (I really love animals). I did feel slightly sorry for the main girl's boyfriend, but really the girl got what she deserved throughout the movie. Rating: 2/10
     Ciao!
